Our purpose is to share the fullness of life in Christ by: Engaging in worship, Living the gospel of God's love, redemption & grace, Equipping, discipling and encouraging Christians, Providing opportunity and facility for fellowship & growth, Participating in the support of missions around the world, and Ministering to the needs of our community.
What Should I Expect During the Service?
If you enter through the sanctuary doors, you will be greeted and handed a bulletin and a visitor slip. The service begins with announcements and prayer. Sunday morning service includes a mix of singing (choruses & hymns), scripture reading & prayer, followed by a meditation. In the middle of the service the Mt. Hope family has an opportunity to give an offering. We would appreciate it if you complete and place a visitor slip in the offering plate. Children 5th grade and under are invited to participate in Children’s church in the Education Wing during the meditation.
On the first Sunday of each month we serve communion as a time to remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and on the last Sunday of the month, we have a time of sharing prayer requests & praises. Following the service, you are invited to stay and meet some of the church family and Pastor John.
